Guarantee Paid Family Leave!
No parent should ever be forced to choose between spending time with a newborn and earning a paycheck. And staying home to care for a sick family member should never jeopardize someone’s career. That’s why I give my staff paid family leave, and why I think more employers should do the same.

Forget the fact that it’s the right thing to do. Forget the fact that the U.S. is just about the only major country in the world that doesn’t guarantee paid leave for workers. What’s too often missed in the debate over paid leave is that it’s a win-win for everyone. Workers get the flexibility they need to balance the needs of their families and their jobs, employers get a more loyal and productive workforce – and that adds to the strength of the entire American economy.
